Two new movie credits + RZR

Two new movies have popped up on Chris’s IMDb list.

Hiding Places

This movie premiered at Twin Cities Film Festival in October 2023. Nothing much is known about it and it’s not clear when or whether it will see a wider release. The short summary of the movie is “Hiding Places highlights the hardships faced by an interracial couple. The family in this dramatic comedy is forced to settle issues of trust and mend old wounds that resurface.”

Drowning

This movie is a story after the novel by T.J. Newman by the same title that’s about the survivors of a plane crash in the Pacific Ocean. It’s currently in production.

RZR

The first two episodes of the web3 series RZR that Chris stars in can now be watched via the gala.com website. All you need to do is register a free account and then you’ll have access to the short film length episodes you can stream via the website. New episodes are added every Sunday at 12pm Pacific time.

A few updates

Chris has been working on a few projects lately, some of which are now out there to look at.

The Influencer Show

Together with his friends Andrew McFarlane and Dov Tiefenbach, Chris made a web comedy series called The Influencer Show which is available to watch on YouTube. Check it out if somewhat slapsticky comedy is your thing. Chris plays the main guy in it, and he lets his comedic talent shine.

RZR

Chris stars in a new Web3 series called RZR. There’s a teaser up on IMDb and on YouTube, and there’s also a short interview with the creator David Bianchi up on YouTube. It’s a sci-fi thriller that’s set in a very dystopian future, and the teaser gives off a definite Cyberpunk 2077 vibe. Chris seems to be in at least seven of the eight episodes.

The series is being made available exclusively through Gala Film and you can purchase access through NFTs.

Sour Party

The indie movie Sour Party Chris starred in is now making the rounds at the film festivals. It premiered at Chattanooga Film Festival in June last year where it received the audience award for best feature. It was also shown at the Sydney Underground Film Fest in September and the Austin Film Festival in October.

The trailer is up on YouTube, a wider release date is not yet known.
